This is a super-quick blog post just to let you know that I’m offering two FREE community events in the next couple weeks. Both are crash courses in budgeting. If you’ve been struggling to get on the budgeting bandwagon, I will help you figure out your personal budget and get past the overwhelm – the first workshop, at CENTRL Office on March 16th, will focus on small business owners and the second workshop, at Books with Pictures on April 1st will focus on creative folks & artists. But either one will get you out the door in 90 minutes with a quick-start budget & a ZEST to get ready to start budgeting.
If you’d like to join the workshops, if you register at the links below you’ll get a free zine to take home.
Budget Like a Badass at CENTRL Pearl
Thursday, March 16th, 12PM – 1:30PM
Practical, no-judgement financial literacy for small business owners and co-founders
Many small business owners are great at managing their company’s expenses, but end up ignoring their own personal money situation until it catches on fire. And even if you feel reasonably on top of your money, you’d likely benefit from a budget check-in. Lillian from Oh My Dollar! will walk you through a 90 minute crash course on crafting a quick-start budget for personal expenses based on your values. (And she won’t sell you any products or overwhelm you with jargon!)
Budget Like a Badass at Books with Pictures
April 1st, 3PM – 5PM
I know that many creative people feel like money is inherently evil, boring, or just something they’ll deal with later. And they end up ignoring their own personal money situation until it catches on fire. If you’ve been feeling like it’s time to start “adulting” with your money, or just want to figure out if you spend a reasonable amount on groceries, this class is for you. Lillian from Oh My Dollar! will walk you through a 90 minute crash course on crafting a quick-start budget for personal expenses based on your values. (And she won’t sell you any products or overwhelm you with jargon!
Hope I can see you there!
