Inside my most recent hyper-fixation: the Cult of Planners. Even more specifically, hobonichi planners. People obsessed with planners have formed extensive international communities online, and lots of interesting small (mostly home-based) businesses have popped up within these ecosystems: sticker shops and subscription plans, importer/exporters for foreign planner brands, makes of duplicates of planners and planner accessories, micro-influencers called "PR girls" for sticker shops, and even resellers of washi tape. We'll talk about what this world is like.
